Signs

There are several ways to setup a Sign:

About

They may look compact, but each Signbeta contains both an LCD screen and full-blown computer, all in a pretty little aluminum package.

Here's the thing: RedPost is actually a software company, NOT a hardware company. Why are we building hardware, you ask? Because we're impatient. Nothing we've found (and we looked everywhere) looks as good and is as low-cost and simple as the Signbeta. We're working to find a company we like who can build the hardware, it's really not what we want to do. But until we find the perfect company to build us what we want, we're selling the Sign and calling it "beta."

A Little Secret

Here's a little secret though: anything that runs Firefox is a Sign. You don't have to pay us a dime to setup your very own. Here's how.

History

Before the Signbeta was the RedPost/Kit. It took the blogosphere by storm (for about 24 hours, at least) making it onto Gizmodo, Engadget, and being called things like "a modder's wet dream." Kits shipped all over the world, including to South Africa, Cyprus, Germany, the UK, Canada, and around the U.S. You can view the now defunct RedPost/Kit website here.
